The Electoral Commission is the independent body that regulates party and election finance, sets standards for well-run elections and encourages people to register to vote.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager to join our team in Northern Ireland as we prepare for the May 2022 Northern Ireland Assembly election. You will be responsible for managing how we interact and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across Northern Ireland. Working closely with the Head of Electoral Commission, Northern Ireland, you will also play an important role in ensuring the delivery of the business plan for the team and managing the day-to-day work of the Electoral Commission, Northern Ireland.
An excellent communicator you will have experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across Northern Ireland. You will be confident in dealing with the media, elected representatives and government particularly under high levels of public scrutiny. In addition, you will have a strong understanding of the political environment in which the Commission works, both in Northern Ireland and across the UK
You will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver on the objectives of the team, as well as to engage with and manage projects relating to our work across the UK. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic all of our staff are working remotely at this time.
