Teaching Assistant

Whitby Heath Primary School is seeking to appoint two creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work as part of our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teams.

We offer a welcoming, vibrant school; a friendly, hardworking team of staff and Governors; happy, enthusiastic children who enjoy learning and a broad, rich, varied and creative curriculum.

The successful candidates will be employed five days a week to work with either our Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 team.  They must be able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning in whole class teaching sessions and work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver units of work.

This role requires effective communication skills, excellent teamwork skills and high expectations and standards for attainment, achievement and behaviour.  The successful candidate is expected to be committed to all aspects of school life.

The position is funded on a temporary basis in the first instance for 12 months from 1st September 2021.
