Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor

To work as part of a multi agency team working closely with high risk victims of domestic abuse providing independent advocacy, risk assessments and developing safety plans to reduce risk. Working closely with partner agencies to share information and will attend MARAC and other safeguarding meetings.

Ability to manage caseload

We are looking for someone who has

*Experience of supporting and advocating on behalf of Domestic abuse victims

*Ability to crisis manage and work well under pressure

*Strong organisational and diary management skills

* Understanding of criminal justice systems

* Proven success of carrying and managing a high case load

May hold SafeLives IDVA qualification - training will also be provided
