Do you have operational experience in Domestic Abuse? Are you ready for your next challenge and want to help us implementing the new Domestic Abuse Bill? If so, we have a newly created post to help us with just that. At the heart of what we aim to achieve is the ambition to put the survivors voice at the centre of all we do and develop services that are needed for Surrey.
We want somebody who has both operational and system leadership experience to ensure a joined-up approach and ensure identification and implication of improved processes and systems between the partnership.
This two-year fixed term role will work with the Head of Domestic Abuse Commissioning to build strong relationships with our partners, providing regular updates and communicating challenges, solutions and successes as appropriate to ensure we are delivering the best possible services to survivors of domestic abuse across Surrey. We are looking for a reliable, organised, and passionate individual with excellent writing skills and experience of the domestic abuse field.
Examples of our work include:
- Building strong, collaborative, and co-productive relationships with operational colleagues, partners, providers and children, young people and families, through an outcomes-led, systems-oriented approach
- Analysing and interpreting data to ascertain need, plan and implement the DA Bill
- Working in partnership with colleagues across Surrey County Council to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for children and adults
- Developing new and innovative services in response to what we learn about the needs and aspirations of our communities
In this role, you will be able and expected to take the lead on exciting projects and therefore you will be working at pace, with clear deadlines, both independently and part of an extended team to bring about the changes required.
