Salary for this position is £28,367 to £31,077

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Housing Accommodation Team to provide tenancy sustainment support to tenants to prevent homelessness and help improve their quality of life. You will promote personal independence and wellbeing by giving practical advice and information on a wide range of issues, including housing, accessing job market, life skills, etc. You will manage a busy caseload of duty accepted homeless clients to ensure timely re-housing in social and private rented sector as well as undertake a full assessment of clients’ housing needs and identify appropriate housing options and provide assistance with accessing these options.
The successful candidate will have strong experience of working in a homelessness, housing options and/ or undertaking statutory homelessness assessments. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, landlords and other internal or external stakeholders. An outstanding customer service with a high level of sensitivity and empathy are paramount for the role.
