Fixed term contract 9 – 12 months. (Dependant on start date)
We’re looking for a Celebrity & Influencer Relationships Manager (Maternity Cover) to develop and implement our Celebrity and Influencer strategy and annual plan, that will support the charity to achieve its ambition to become the ‘go to’ breast cancer charity.
Drawing on your in-depth knowledge of the UK celebrity and influencer agenda, and an established and diverse network of relevant celebrity, influencer and agency contacts, you’ll lead all work with our high-profile supporters – from working with colleagues to identify and seize profile media opportunities, to recruiting and supporting celebrities to take part in major fundraising events.
You’ll be excited to be part of an ambitious, focused and supportive wider Fundraising, Communications and Engagement Directorate, which is newly formed with a remit to reach and engage more people than ever in our work and to develop our fundraising to become a sustainable organisation for the future. You will play a key role as a manager within this Directorate.
Evolving internal engagement and working processes will also be pivotal to your success and to ensuring that all work with our celebrities, influencers, Ambassadors and Vice-Patrons leverages mutual benefit for both parties.
Establishing and nurturing trusted working relationships with high-profile individuals and their agents, and external stakeholders such as corporate partners, you will also build effective working relationships with colleagues across the charity – from feeding in to working groups to interacting with the Chief Executive and Directors.
Effective at multitasking and prioritising your workload under pressure, you will be both creative and strategic, and integrity and sensitivity will be at the heart of your approach as you involve our supporters in building our external profile.
