Community Safety Business Support Officer

The Wokingham Community Safety Team is part of an expanding and developing Communities and Neighborhoods Service that is at the heart of delivering services to the residents of the borough. By delivering positive outcomes and tackling issues of concern for residents, communities and businesses the Community Safety Team is an integral part of ensuring that the borough remains a safe place to live work and visit

You will be part of a Community Safety Team helping to deliver across the range of strategic and operational Community Safety areas of responsibility including; Prevent, Hate Crime, Anti-Social Behaviour, Substance Misuse and Domestic Abuse. The Team works closely with a range of responsible authorities, partners and stakeholders including; Thames Valley Police, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Health and Probation as well as Social Landlords to deliver initiatives to reduce and prevent Crime and Disorder.

We are looking for a candidate that can provide essential business support across the whole team. You will be highly organised, able to manage and plan diaries and able to accuractely record infomation.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with excellent administrative skills.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.
