Enterprise Coordinator – Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Schools and Alternative Provision (Maternity cover)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the West of England Careers Hub as an Enterprise Coordinator, the hub is part of the West of England Combined Authority’s Business and Skills team

Working in an established team you will be delivering support to a caseload of schools in the West of England Careers Hub and Enterprise Adviser Network.

The Coordinator’s role is to build the capacity of our special schools, working closely with careers leaders in school to develop high quality career development programmes that result in improved outcomes through effective employer engagement and stakeholder management.

The role will also require business engagement and recruitment of Enterprise Advisers from local businesses and successful matching to schools within the hub.

Ideal candidates will need to demonstrate significant knowledge and understanding of careers, education, information advice and guidance (CEIAG) and the ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels, with a wide range of external stakeholders.

This is a 12-month maternity cover contract starting August 1st,  2021. The position is available as: a 12-month secondment or to external applicants and offered as both full-time or part-time roles.
