8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4pm Friday

Grade 4, £18,933 - £19,698 (Pro rata £16,264 - £16,921)


The Governors at Upton-by-Chester High School are looking to appoint a temporary Attendance and family Support Worker.  This person will work alongside the Pastoral Team in the school to support the attendance of vulnerable learners in the school.

Upton by Chester High School has 1650 learners of roll and whilst the attendance of many of our learners is exceptionally good we are looking to ensure that every learner has great attendance.  We are looking for a highly organised, outstanding communicator who can build excellent relationships with all parents/carers and families, including those who are hard to reach. 

This is a new role in the school hence the reason for a temporary appointment in the first instance.  We do see this role as being important moving forward and there will be a strong likelihood of the post being extended for a successful candidate.
