The successful applicant will have at least three years’ experience of working with front end code and mark-up including JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and using Photoshop or a similar graphics editor, as part of a digital product or services team ideally in the public sector.

Experience of using the GDS Design System and creating the visual and interaction elements of digital services in a low-code forms builder platform or environment would also be an advantage.

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent design skills to join an expanding team and help shape how digital services and information are delivered in West Berkshire.

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
