Affordable, suitable and decent housing is one of the top priorities in our Council Plan. As Housing Strategy Manager you will be pivotal in supporting the Head of Housing in driving forward a new housing and homelessness strategy, driving up standards of our private sector housing and supporting the development of affordable housing in the district. 

You will have a proven track record in policy and strategic development within a Local Authority or Housing Association environment, significant evidence of partnership working across the public, private and voluntary sectors with the ability to be politically sensitive and have the credibility and excellent communication skills to unite our dedicated team and partners.

You will have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to produce accurate and concise information. You will have the ability to lead your teams across your service area, with an ambition to drive excellence for our customers and residents. We are seeking a motivated and innovative person, with good attention to detail, who can work proactively with internal and external partners.
