If you have a passion for working with families from 0-19 around breastfeeding, oral health and community food and nutrition, and the knowledge and skills in behaviour change interventions, then this role could be for you.

The Supporting Healthy Weight Team are recruiting this role to develop innovative ideas and content for reaching our service users across a variety of platforms to communicate health messages to improve the health of children and families across Medway.

These focus on the delivery of outcomes and ambitions highlighted in national and local strategies including reducing childhood obesity in Medway and our local Infant Feeding Strategy.

The position will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering marketing and promotional campaigns using social media platforms and events to increase awareness of health improvement services and the ‘Beside You’ Medway campaign. This includes administration of social media accounts and appearances on various platforms to increase engagement.

The role will play a key role in building positive relationships with local partners ranging from maternity and health visiting services, children’s and family hubs, school leads, and other charity or community settings.

This role will play a key part in supporting the Medway’s Food Partnership and driving forward the agenda.

 

The successful candidate will hold the following essential qualifications

  • Degree level study or equivalent evidence of continual professional development.
  • Demonstrable experience in using Microsoft packages and video editing tools

Desirable Qualification

  • UKPHR Practitioner registration or evidence of working towards registration.
