Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Lime Academy Orton
The Lime Trust is looking for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Lime Trust consists of 8 schools, 4 Special and 4 Primary in Cambridgeshire and North and East London.
Lime Academy Orton is a special school split over two sites in Orton Goldhay and Orton Malborne, Peterborough, for children and young adults with complex and severe needs including learning difficulties, physical impairment, sensory impairment and ASD aged from 2-19.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join our growing Trust and to help create an exceptional learning experience for our pupils by working under the guidance of the teacher to undertake work and support programmes.
The successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities will include supporting pupils’ learning, meeting pupils’ needs whilst encouraging independence and delivering therapeutic programmes devised by external professionals.
This can be a challenging environment, therefore determination and resilience are key characteristics for the post.
