The Governors and School leaders at Neston Primary School are looking to appoint an excellent Year 1 teacher to join our dedicated, experienced and supportive team in September 2021.

We feel this role is not suitable for NQTs

This is a part-time role 0.4 (currently the days worked are Monday and Tuesday) which will be /temporary (in the first instance) main pay scale role, M1 to M6, so we are looking for someone who:

  • is committed to providing the best educational opportunities for all children
  • has a thorough understanding of, and experience of, teaching phonics
  • can engage, inspire and motivate children to achieve their very best
  • has excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • can establish and maintain strong working relationships with pupils, parents, carers, governors and other professionals
  • can demonstrate outstanding practice with high expectations of pupil attainment
  • has a high standard of professionalism and a determination to continuous improvement
  • has experience/willingness of leading a subject and will be a ‘champion’ for that subject across the school and understands the qualities needed to be an effective subject leader.
  • has a genuine love of working with children and is committed to the development of the whole child in an inspiring and inclusive environment
  • is willing to be fully involved in the life of the school and is fully support the ethos of the school
