Civil Enforcement Officer
Salary Band C between £23,706 and £26,107 (equates to an hourly rate of between £12.28 and £13.52)
One full time (37 hours) and one part time (15 hours) post (you will be working on a shift rota mainly daytime but also evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays)
A generous annual leave allowance of 24 days (plus an additional 5 days depending on having Continuous Local Government Service).

Can you demonstrate a "can do" attitude and are able to work well on your own and as part of a team?
We are looking to recruit two highly motivated and customer orientated Civil Enforcement Officers. Your working day will be spent patrolling on street parking locations and off street car parks either by vehicle or foot. You will be issuing penalty charge notices to vehicles that are parked illegally and will be expected to apply fairness, common sense and initiative.
Great customer service and communication skills are essential to the post, along with the ability to cope well in pressured and stressful situations.
To be successful in this role you must hold a full driving licence. Previous experience in a parking enforcement role may be helpful but is not essential. Full training will be provided.

How to get to us:
Sevenoaks is only half an hour from central London by train. You will be based at the Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent. TN13 1HG, however due to the current pandemic and current Government advice at the time of advert the role will require a combination of both remote and office based working. A free staff car park is available on site.
