John Betts Primary School is a lively, welcoming, well-resourced primary school located within walking distance of Hammersmith. Alongside our academic endeavours we enjoy a wide range of events and celebrations to recognise our unique and culturally diverse school. We are a team of supportive, positive and forward-thinking individuals always striving to improve the quality of the education and the educational opportunities we are able to offer our pupils.
We are very excited to have created this new post to increase our Leadership team and provide us with the arsenal to build and develop further opportunities for both the children and staff at John Betts. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Early Years education, who will not only lead the EYFS team but who will educate all staff on the importance and impact EYFS has on a child’s development. Next year is going to be a significant one for EYFS with introduction of the new framework and we are looking for someone who is confident to lead and implement this successfully.
The successful candidate will work alongside other senior leaders to monitor the impact of our wellbeing interventions. The team will work together to analyse whole school data to see the benefits of these interventions on children’s academic progress. As the Wellbeing Achievement Lead the candidate will identify appropriate strategies, possible programmes and courses that will help both children and teachers in improving outcomes.
What we can offer you:
- a high level of support and commitment from our friendly and hardworking leadership team
- a staff that is enthusiastic and committed to the children and their development
- children who are eager to learn in our creative and challenging atmosphere
- a vibrant, inclusive and culturally diverse school community
- a commitment to professional development
- a highly supportive Board of Governors
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and are an equal opportunities employer. Any offer of employment will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check, satisfactory references and medical check.
