Tarnerland Nursery School is for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, it is funded by the Local Education Authority in partnership with the Council’s Children’s & Family Services.

About the role

We are looking for 2 Nursery Assistants to join our team, to work as a Key Person for a group of children, in our Baby Room and Toddler Rooms. You will require an excellent knowledge of the EYFS and practical experience of planning and assessing for children.

Tarnerland caters for three age groups Lookers and Explorers (0- 2years) Players and Pretenders (2-3 years) and Carers and Creators (3-4years)

Applicants must have a relevant childcare qualification and experience in working with children under five years in an Early Years environment, experience of working with babies is an advantage. Experience of child protection/safeguarding work would also be advantageous, as would experience of working with children with additional needs.
