Band D, £15,298 - £17,573

Are you interested in improving the health and wellbeing of North West Leicestershire’s residents? The Health and Wellbeing Team have an exciting vacancy, part time temporary Health and Wellbeing Development Officer. We are looking for someone to be the key link between the Health and Wellbeing team and our locally based community leisure offer currently focussed in Measham, Ibstock, and Castle Donington. We are looking for someone who can support the community leisure provision in improving the health and wellbeing of residents within North West Leicestershire.

It’s a really exciting time to join the team with facility improvements in our leisure offer such as new fitness rooms and potential 3G pitch whilst also capitalising on Covid recovery opportunities. There has been a real togetherness from our communities and voluntary organisations, again presenting more opportunity to work closer with our communities to improve health and wellbeing.

You will work as part of an enthusiastic team to ensure that the community leisure offer is integral to the delivery of the North West Leicestershire Health and Wellbeing Strategy and are able to evidence the impact the community leisure scheme is having on health and wellbeing.
