Job Title: Service Link Officer
Location:  Farnham House, Stevenage (currently working at home)
Salary Range: H8 £27,741 - £30,451pa
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

East and North Herts Adult Disability Service

Job Duties:  

Playing a key role in the Adult Disability Service, you will support and lead on resolving complex debt recovery issues with Service Users and families.  You will deal with financial queries and complaints about care standards relating to Service Users.

For this role you will:

  • Have relevant experience of dealing with Service Users, carers and independent providers
  • Demonstrate knowledge of local and government charging policies in relation to care
  • Be a confident individual capable of working as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Possess good negotiation skills and be able to work with partner agencies to achieve common goals
  • Work hard to meet deadlines
  • Keep up to date with policies and procedures relevant to the role
  • Possess excellent numeracy, communication and IT skills    

An NVQ level 3 qualification, or equivalent, is desirable.  You must be confident using ICT systems to record and report on important financial and care management information
