Projects & Contracts Building Surveyor

Runnymede Borough Council, based in Surrey is seeking an innovative and highly motivated Projects & Contracts Building Surveyor to join our newly formed Strategic Land and Property assets team.

Deputising for the Senior Building & Projects Manager when needed, you will be working together to deliver a high-quality building surveying service and project management in respect of Council’s regeneration opportunities.  In addition a comprehensive understanding of health and safety aspects relating to properties and ability to deliver sustainable measures across our portfolio will also form part of your remit having a designated officer reporting to you to achieve these goals

To excel in this role, you will have a track record of specifying, procuring, and managing projects and have an excellent working knowledge of procurement processes and construction contracts.  

You will also need to demonstrate your ability to plan, and co-ordinate property works through to execution whilst ensuring good quality and value for money.
