Job Title: Admin Support Officer
Salary Range: £19,312 progressing to £20,903 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 18.5 per week (Job share Wednesday PM, Thursday & Friday)

The role provides administrative support in the Safeguarding and Specialist Services area of Children’s Services supporting a front line social care team.
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised individuals who are able to ensure that a high level of administrative support is provided to teams, to facilitate an excellent service being delivered to the people in Safeguarding and Specialist Services team.
The role involves supporting front line operational teams who work directly with adults, children and young people.
Although there are no specific qualifications required for this role but previous experience in service delivery or a business related qualification would be beneficial. You will be a competent administrator with experience of using Microsoft Office and taking minutes at meetings at a high level. You will be a confident team member, acting as the first point of contact for Managers and possess excellent customer care skills.
You will be self-motivated, professional and approachable providing excellent team support and best practice at all times. You must be willing to undertake a variety of administrative tasks, operating within departmental policies and procedures. You must have minute taking skills to a high standard.
These are some of the specific tasks that you will undertake as a support officer in family safeguarding;
Book & arrange teleconference (External/Internal) , Send out safeguarding welfare checks, Follow up & chase checks that are not returned within timescales, Copy and upload case, supervisions onto systems, Sending out sensitive letters and documents, Peer checking all post that is being sent out, Booking/planning meetings, Genograms – Family tree, Minute taking/Case supervisions, Scanning and uploading documents to our systems , General support across the social work team/fellow support officers
