All roles offer the opportunity to work at the heart of Knowsley Council, supporting the recovery of the borough from COVID-19, and working with departments to improve services and outcomes for people in Knowsley.
We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join the Policy and Research Team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to making a difference to the Borough. This will include the implementation of Knowsley 2030, the new long-term strategy for the Borough, and responding to the new opportunities and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic poses for Knowsley residents and communities.
Candidates will have outstanding research and analysis skills, with experience in working closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop robust and evidenced-based policies, strategies and delivery plans.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with strong report-writing skills and proven experience in providing advice and recommendations on complex topics to a range of audiences.
This is a high profile, fast paced and challenging role which will involve close working with senior decision-makers, Elected Members and strategic partners. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of working with a wide range of stakeholder groups to develop strategy and be able to build and maintain strong relationships across organisations and sectors.
