6 month Fixed Term Contract
Wokingham Borough Council has an opportunity available for an individual looking to make a difference as part of the borough's Covid-19 response.
We are looking to recruit a call handler to develop and maintain relationships with a range of settings including schools, where the council have children and young people placed, reassuring providers and signposting any questions and queries within an reasonable timeframe.
Applicants must be willing to learn and digest latest Covid guidance and legislation to support our partners to remain safe and work within Government rules.
Proficient in MS Office you will be responsible for updating data on a tracker / spreadsheet, keeping clear statistical information and producing reports as necessary.
We will be looking for an individual who has good communication skills both written and verbal, with proven experience of word and excel and the ability to work using their own initiative and manage time accordingly, working to deadlines and making decisions on priorities with the support of the project officer.
