Waking Night Worker

We’re looking for two people to join our team as a Waking Night Worker to provide support at an Extra Care scheme in Sunbury-on Thames. If this is of interest, then we would love to hear from you.

NHG’s Care and Support department delivers homes for thousands of people who face challenges in today’s housing climate. Our residents include people who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health needs as well as older people with care needs. We strive to ensure that, regardless of need, our residents can lead their lives at home with dignity, in safety and in control.
 
Located in the Middlesex area, the Waking Night Worker will be responsible for health and safety and delivering out of hours housing related support in one service Mitchison Court. The scheme is accommodation based environments made up of Extra Care and Leasehold Older Persons who have  varying support needs, with care packages assigned where required.
 
The primary focus of our schemes is for customers to be supported in a range of areas, including increasing their independence and wellbeing.
 
You will be required to lone work and use your own initiative which will need a strong willed and confident individual. We want to find motivational and inspirational individual’s that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centered service.

Experience of working in a housing related environment is desirable.

Hours will be 42 hours a week, you will be required to work four shifts on week one of the Rota and three shifts on week two of the Rota. You will be required to work alternate weekends.
