Following a review of how we approach transformation activity at Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils, we are recruiting 2 roles to join the Projects Team of the Business Transformation Unit – a Digital Transformation Project Manager and a Digital Transformation Assistant Project Manager.
Digital Transformation Project Manager:
The role will be to manage projects(s) within the councils’ Recovery and Reset Portfolio, specifically, as part of the Digital Transformation Programme.
Digital Transformation Assistant Project Manager:
To work across a number of projects, supporting the Digital Transformation Project Manager(s) and carrying out projects tasks, such as implementing and delivering project plans, testing, requirements documentation, liaising with stakeholders, ensuring actions are delivered within set timescales. These activities will support learning/consolidation of the councils’ project management approach and methodology.
- The roles are for a 12-month fixed term contract.
- The councils are reviewing their ways of working and how they provide services to customers, the post holders will be integral in supporting and embedding this new approach through the digital transformation projects.
- The roles will predominantly be home working with a limited need to come into the councils’ offices – we anticipate this being only a couple of times a year (outside of induction period). The post holders can live anywhere – they will be required to hold legal status to work in the UK.
