Brighton & Hove Beach Lifeguards
Brighton & Hove City Council Lifeguards Service is recruiting for Qualified UK Beach Lifeguards to supplement and support the current seasonal team.
You must have a valid UK Beach Lifeguard Qualification to be considered for this role.
About the role
With over 11 million visitors to Brighton & Hove each year, you will play a major part in keeping our beaches safe and enjoyable for all who use them.
In a typical summer season our Lifeguard & Seafront Team have responded to 134 incidents saving 46 lives and reunited 45 missing persons – it’s fair to say no day is the same, you will face challenges and you will make the difference in keeping people safe.
What we are looking for:
UK Qualified Lifeguards to join our current team of Beach Lifeguards
Fixed Term & Casual Contracts (24th May 2021 - 5th September 2021)
£10.01 / hour
You will also be required to attend in house training throughout the season if recruited.
Casual contracts will be considered to compliment the service dependent on commitment to hours.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
