Learning Mentor

At Springwell Park we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and self-motivated Learning Mentor to join our well-established Pastoral Team.

As a Learning Mentor, you'll work closely with individuals who are struggling with social, emotional or behavioural problems that affect their ability to learn. You'll work alongside teachers and other staff, to identify the needs of learners who require support to overcome barriers that are preventing them from achieving their full potential.

This is a great opportunity for a Learning Mentor who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for children and to support pupils with their emotional well-being.

The successful candidate will provide targeted support in 1:1 sessions, group sessions or working in the class with the child.

This is a full time, term-time only position and the successful candidate will provide a complementary service to teachers and pastoral staff to support primary-aged children.

The successful candidate will be a key member of our pastoral team and should have relevant qualifications and proven experience of working with pupils and families with varying social and emotional needs across all age ranges.

This contract is for 12 months in the first instance.
