Pastoral Mentor & Teaching Assistant

Pastoral Mentor:

Scale 6, Point 18: £26,856 pa FTE (Actual Salary: £15,348 pa)

25 hours per week, term time only • September 2021

We require for September 2021 a Pastoral Mentor to promote high expectations and support pupil engagement with learning. Experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage. Good administrative skills are also required. 

The role involves working in partnership with school leaders, classroom based staff, parents, pupils and other professionals to address barriers to learning and ensure that all pupils are able to engage with education. Timely and accurate record keeping is a vital part of this job role and you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. 

Teaching Assistant:

Scale 2b, Point 2: £19,563 pa FTE (Actual Salary: £11,180 pa)

25 hours per week, term time only • September 2021 

Do you have the ability, confidence and experience to motivate and engage students? Do you have a passion to encourage and support SEND children’s development?

We require for September 2021 a person who would enjoy working in a highly effective SEN department. Some experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage. Good administrative skills are also required. Part time applications would be welcomed.
