Curriculum Leader of Health and Social Care

Required for September 2021, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Curriculum Leader of Health and Social Care. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate effective leadership and innovation in the subject, coordinating the delivery of excellent standards of teaching and learning across the provision.  Full or part time possible depending on the strengths of each candidate

Results in BTEC Level 3 are consistently excellent. In 2019, 60% of students achieved Distinction * or Distinction.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent and as such the provision for professional learning and development is something of which we are all very proud.

Potential candidates may also wish to know that our admissions policy enables the school to prioritise the admission of children of staff recruited to posts in which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.

If you have a very good knowledge and understanding of the subject and you are an excellent teacher looking to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment, we would welcome an application from you. Opportunities for personal development are excellent at our school.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. All staff employed in the school must be aware that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be undertaken. If you are interested in learning more about the position please contact the Headteacher via HR recruitment@bonitas.org.uk

Please also note that applications will be considered on receipt and that the school reserves the right to close this advert once sufficient applications have been received.
