Careers Adviser & Careers Co-ordinator

An experienced Careers Adviser is required to take on the joint role of Careers Co-ordinator and Adviser in a Waltham Forest secondary school for September 2021 start.

Working with the school Careers Lead you will:

  • Administer the work experience programme
  • Keep careers information up to date
  • Organise internal activities e.g. a careers fair, mock interview day.
  • Run Compass evaluation & planning tool every term to monitor progress in meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks
  • Liaise with education providers, employers & LEAN East Enterprise Adviser
  • Support the Careers Lead to plan the careers programme
  • Provide personal careers guidance face to face, virtually, and via small group sessions.

The position is for 4 days/28 hours a week, a total of 37 weeks, term-time only. This is likely to be an on-going contract.
