Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship

Are you looking for a role that makes a difference to others but equally helps boost your career?

The salary for this role is £15,158 per annum based on a 36 hours working week.

This Apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity to gain both experience and training. Your day to day work will see you gain the skills needed for a professional role that will make a difference for our residents in Surrey.

You get the opportunity to support and work alongside all of the colleagues within the Learning Design & Technology Team and, as well as receiving guidance and support from a fun and friendly team, you will have our Early Careers network to lean on. This is a varied role and you will have the chance to make it your own, whilst we will provide you with all the knowledge and training you require to be successful. The work you do will reinforce your learning, providing evidence-based experiences to support your qualification. You will be fully supported and mentored through your apprenticeship and will be given time, whilst at work, to complete your course work with a dedicated assessor.

We operate a policy of agile working, which means you will have the option to spend part of your week working from home, though this may flex based on business need. Though the role is based in Reigate, we have teams based in offices across the County and business travel to other offices in Surrey may be required.

The Requirement

We are looking for fresh new talent from all walks of life who can flourish with us here at Surrey. We’re not focused on your qualifications or work experience, but on whether you have drive, commitment and ideas we're looking for. We have already had a large number of apprentices successfully complete our scheme and many have gone on to secure roles within the Council.

To be considered for shortlisting, you will be able to evidence in your application:

  • A great attitude and passion for making a difference
  • A commitment and willingness to learn
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your time and workload
  • A strong interest in multi-media/content production with a desire to learn new knowledge & skills in this field
  • Ability to work towards an apprenticeship at level 3
  • English and Maths GCSE 9-4/A*-C or Functional Skills Level 2 or ability to work towards this

At Surrey, our values and behaviours are just as important as our skills and abilities. They shape who we are as an organisation. Find out more about the values we follow.
