Compliance Team Leader - Band G, salary £34,728 to £38,890 per annum

Keeping our tenants and staff safe is a key priority for the Council and this role has a critical part to play in doing that.
We are looking for someone with the right skills to lead our Compliance Team. The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience of managing compliance for social housing properties or transferable skills to do so from other sectors. It is essential that you are able to develop and maintain comprehensive data records to demonstrate compliance and facilitate the delivery of effective procurement and contract management approaches. You will also have responsibility for ensuring that robust remedial action plans are put in place to address any issues identified. Ideally you will also have previous experience in the management of refurbishment programmes.
You must also be able to demonstrate:
- knowledge of the legal context for compliance areas including gas, electrical safety, legionella and fire safety
- strong programme, project, financial and risk management skills
- excellent people management skills
