We are passionate about getting the right people into the right jobs; and we take pride in managing the journey which allows both ourselves and our colleagues to find their greatness.

As the newest member of the Recruitment Team, you will thrive on providing exceptional customer service, support and guidance to our Hiring Managers. You will be responsible for the successful management of end to end recruitment campaigns, providing expert advice to managers throughout the process; from coaching them in crafting the perfect advert, creating engaging social media posts, assisting with candidate searches, liaising with agencies where appropriate, assisting with sourcing short-term agency workers, to issuing offers and contracts to the ideal candidate who you helped find.  You will join the Recruitment Team at an exciting time, and your input will help directly shape our service of the future.

You do not need a recruitment background, although it would be advantageous.  We will teach you all you need to know from our systems, policies, employment law and best practice.  In return you will need to possess excellent customer service, communication and administrative skills, a willingness to support our managers as well as our team.  We will support you and provide a clear development plan to enable you to excel in your role; whether that is starting from the basics, or developing your existing skillset further. Couple this with our approach to agile working, and we are confident you will find your place within this enthusiastic and driven team. Apply now to find out how you can find your greatness by helping us to deliver better services to the local community.

  • Flexible and agile working arrangements. We recognise the importance of supporting our employees to balance their home and work life and to be able to work in the most efficient way. We will actively encourage you to manage work and personal commitments.
  • Family friendly policies and practices

  • An option to buy an additional 5 days annual leave per year.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). This is a valuable part of our rewards package for employees and includes Life Assurance: click here
