We are currently looking to recruit a Business Administration Support Assistant to work in our Administrative Services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with teams across the Council as well as the Senior Leadership Team and elected Members.

This is a role that really makes a difference; the support you provide will ensure that the Council is able to effectively deliver services to residents in the district and meet the aims of our Community Plan.

You will work to defined business standards and processes; performing a wide range of administrative tasks with due regard to confidentiality and safeguarding.

You will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy environment, be able to use a variety of software packages, particularly use of Microsoft packages, have experience of data input and data management and able to use defined business processes and giving guidance on them to colleagues.

The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths or able to show demonstrable experience.

If you have good attention to detail, are able to work as a team or using your own initiative and have excellent communication skills, you are a motivated individual, with good ICT skills, who strives to work to a high standard at all times then this may be the role for you. 

You should enjoy working in a process driven role with a team aiming for the same goals and be will be able to prioritise work effectively whilst working accurately and to deadlines.
