Permanent Full time post (37 hours).

The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, motivated and organised planning professional. This post is career graded to provide opportunities to all professional town planning officers, whether they are at the beginning of their careers or experienced and looking for further opportunities and challenges through a caseload of major and more complex proposals, or mentoring and leadership opportunities. We will also offer you plentiful and varied experience in a key role within our Development Management service and an opportunity to contribute to the emerging local plan and ultimately its implementation, as well as a commitment to your continual professional development.

Who are we looking for?
You will need to be a team player with a positive approach, willing to contribute to the delivery of transformational change and continuous improvement to secure excellent customer service. For officers looking to be appointed at the Senior Planning Officer level these individuals should have significant experience of dealing with a range of planning applications and appeals.
