We are looking for Sessional Registration Officers to join our team of Permanent and Sessional Registrars. The team provides a range of services including birth and death registration, Notice of Marriage, wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and citizenship services.
The successful candidates will be part of a team covering registration services based at the Register Office in Grove Road, Walthamstow and Leytonstone libraries, Walthamstow Town Hall, as well as approved venues within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. You will need to demonstrate the following skills:-
- Excellent customer service
- Good communication
- Accurate recording and legible handwriting
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Be well-organised and able to prioritise
The services offered by the Registration Team covers Monday – Sunday, 9am – 5pm, and we also offer evening appointments.
Previous registration experience is preferred; training will be given to enhance your registration skills as well as advice and support. You will be expected to complete and pass an Enhanced DBS check.
