Job introduction

We are looking for a business support officer to lead the administration and student admissions process for our new Adult Education Hub based in central Brighton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand new department helping to bring skills based training courses and qualifications to our local adult residents.


About the role

The role will provide professional business support to the Adult Community Learning service, responsible for providing an efficient and effective service to both members of the public, outside professional agencies, external partners and organisations e.g. Department for Education (DfE), Education Funding Agency (EFA) and Ofsted and staff.

The post holder will be an integral part of Adult Community Learning team and will assist with effective front line customer service and administrative skills making sure that there is a smooth transition from student applications into course enrolments and that the overall student experience.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
