About the role
The Business Analyst works to support the wider Highways, Traffic and Parking teams, with key data and information to guide effective decision making in relation to policy and data analysis. Contributing to the delivery of the strategic objectives and functions of the service, the role also leads the coordination of performance information, data quality procedures, and business planning processes.
Assisting the Head of Highways, Traffic and Parking the Business Analyst ensures policies and procedures are properly documented, reviewed and updated, whilst overseeing the technical aspects of the service – including the administration of IT systems that enable an exceptional service delivery.
This is a fast-paced role which is seen as the ‘backbone’ to the service, extracting information producing reports/ insights for key stakeholders, in addition to maintaining data integrity of our systems.
Working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders you will be a good communicator, with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, displaying a positive approach to collaborative/ partnership working.
We’re looking for the successful applicant to have proven experience of managing and delivering outputs, with a strong background in data collection and analysis, reporting and utilising data analysis methodologies.
