Band A

Wirral is home to vibrant, energetic and engaged communities, people who take real ownership of their local area and are passionate about making Wirral a better place. The council and its partners have pledged to #BeTheDifference.

We’ve got ambitious targets to meet by 2025. To achieve everything we have promised to our residents, we need people who are driven and ready to deliver the very best for our communities - #BeTheDifference.

We are looking for two apprentices to fulfil the role of Catering Assistant to work across our asset portfolio which includes the Floral Pavilion Theatre and Conference Centre and The Sail Loft West Kirby.

The role will involve 20% protected time for study and offer the balance of achieving an NVQ level 2 in Hospitality administered by Wirral Met College.

Candidates who are looking to start a career in hospitality will find this an excellent opportunity to gain all essential qualifications such as Barista, Food Hygiene and other such training to set you in great stead.

This is a 2-year apprenticeship at the end of which the apprenticeship will end.

Should you wish to discuss informally, please contact Janet McDermott on email
