Duties of the post:

The role will be to maintain the operational efficiency of the Finance Management System, working collaboratively with stakeholders, reporting directly to the Principal Accountant (Systems). There will be an opportunity for progression with the team for a suitable candidate.

This multi-faceted role is to provide a first level lead on the maintenance and day to day operation of the finance management system and management of the help desk, ensuring adequate controls and system checks are in place to protect the clarity and integrity of all financial information and records.

Engagement with system implementations relating to software updates and acquisitions will also feature, dependent on the timing of completed planned acquisitions.

Ideally you will have experience within a systems accountant role with strong financial acumen (QBE or qualified) and strong knowledge of reporting tools and Microsoft Office products.

You need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

You may be expected to get involved in more routine accounting tasks (for example month end preparation, budgeting and forecasting, user training) as prescribed by the requirements of the organisation).

You will be joining a friendly, driven team with a combination of office based and remote working.
