Data Privacy Manager

The role

To be responsible for the implementation and management of Breast Cancer Now’s data protection compliance programme as devised and agreed by the Data Protection Officer and Senior Leadership Team. To engage with colleagues across the charity to provide pragmatic, straightforward and timely advice and support to enable colleagues to carry out their activities in compliance with data protection requirements. To roll out and maintain compliance related systems and processes.

About you

You will be a subject matter expert on compliance with the UK data protection regime, confident in giving advice to colleagues. You will be happy to work independently, prioritise your workload and take the initiative in managing compliance projects. You will be able to form good working relationships with colleagues, understanding their activities and working practices and the data protection challenges they present so you can find pragmatic solutions. You will be confident in your use of technology and happy to engage with compliance platforms, such as OneTrust.

Although the role is based in London office, we are following a blended approach between office and home working with a minimum or two days per week in the office for full-time staff members.
