As part of a new specialist team reporting to the Services Development Coordinator, Secondary Breast Cancer, you will be responsible for the delivery of both our face-to-face and online services for people with secondary (metastatic) breast cancer across the UK.
This role will allow you to ensure Breast Cancer Now delivers a quality support and information service as well as coordinating service events, liaising with venues and speakers and recruiting, training and working with sessional counsellors; you will also facilitate some of our online services. A key part of the role involves developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase their reach and uptake. Flexibility to travel and work outside normal office hours, with occasional overnight stays is required.
You will demonstrate a passion and commitment for supporting people with breast cancer as well as having an understanding, of the challenges a diagnosis of a life-limiting or terminal illness can bring. You will have experience of developing and delivering information, health or other support services and will enjoy managing relationships with a range of different stakeholders, often remotely. Organised and with excellent time management skills, you must be able to use your initiative and prioritise your workload. You will enjoy working as part of a supportive and busy new team, operating across different geographical sites.

Although the role is based in our Sheffield office, we are following a blended approach between office and home working with a minimum of two days per week in the office for full-time staff members.
