Senior Housing Officer

Salary NS11:  £32,234 to £33,782 per annum (pay award pending)

37 hours per week

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Senior Housing Officer to join our housing, health and wellbeing team.  The successful candidate will work alongside our current Senior Housing Officers in leading, managing and delivering high quality tenancy and estate management, ensuring a customer centred approach runs through the team.

You will need to demonstrate you share Newark & Sherwood District Council’s Vision and Values and have extensive social housing experience with relevant qualifications. Your ongoing CPD and up to date knowledge of current legislation is also pivotal to this role.

Providing general day to day management and supervision of a team of Tenancy Officers, Tenancy Assistants and Street Wardens, you will lead by example and guidance to deliver excellence in all aspects of tenancy sustainment and management, whilst ensuring our estates and community centres are clean and safe.

You will need excellent interpersonal skills and will be self-motivated, effectively dealing with staffing matters including staff appointments, training and development, health, safety and welfare.
