We are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated and resourceful staff at Coopers Lane School. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with ADHD and challenging behaviour.
You will be working as part of a great team, providing support 1:1, in small groups and in a class setting in order to maintain and improve the social, emotional and learning behaviour of pupils. As a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant, you will be able to tailor your approach to suit this child’s specific needs.
This post is for 25 hours a week, term time only (38 weeks a year) on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year July 2022. The contract may be extended beyond this date at the discretion of the school depending on SEN funding.

We are looking for someone who:
- Is a dedicated, enthusiastic professional
- Has a passion for learning
- Has excellent communication skills
- Has experience supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
- Has experience of supporting mild to severe SEN including but not limited to: Autism, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour or Speech and Language difficulties
- Is passionate about inclusive education
- Is willing to learn and to be trained further in this role
- Is qualified to at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications or experience

£14,024 per annum - Actual salary for 25 Hours a week 5 Hours a day
