Private Sector Housing Officer

Runnymede is looking for an experienced Private Sector Housing Officer. The team thrives on the shared challenges that this area of work brings and enjoys an interesting and varied case-load. As a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to deal with the complete range of regulatory work. If you are a motivated and experienced Private Sector Housing Officer, we’d love to hear from you.

You will hold a degree in Environmental Health and will have experience in Private Sector Housing and be able to demonstrate competence in the application of HHSRS and use of appropriate enforcement tools.

You will have an ability to prioritise effectively and be able to work with efficiency and attention to detail is essential. You should be committed to delivering excellent services and maintaining effective relationships with other officers, members and other key stakeholders/partners drawing upon good communication, negotiation and mediation skills.

You will also need the confidence to deal with challenging or difficult situations and to work effectively with other authorities and agencies.

The post is full time and a full driving licence is required.
