An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the council's fast paced Customer Services Department. The post holder will provide advice and assistance to the public on a wide range of Council Departments, Services and signpost to Partner Organisations.
The role involves answering inbound calls in a call centre environment for a variety of services.
Proven experience of giving information/advice to the public is essential. Also, proven experience of working in a demanding customer service role dealing with the public on a day to day basis in the appropriate areas. To be able to work flexibly in a demanding environment in a positive and productive manner and to have good interpersonal skills. Must also be competent in working with ICT.
The ability to work outside normal office hours and work at multiple sites essential.
