This is your chance to find your own personal greatness in a role where you will be responsible for the management and delivery of a variety of projects on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council’s Housing Service. The Housing Property Client Team provides a wide range of services to our residents - including the delivery new homes and completion of building refurbishments.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual able to take the lead on projects relating to the delivery of new homes and conversions to meet housing demand. Candidates must be comfortable working at pace, with strict deadlines - both independently and as part of an extended team - to drive forward an ambitious delivery programme.
We would welcome your application if you:
- can demonstrate experience of working in a relevant development or construction delivery environment (ideally in a social housing environment) and/or hold a project management qualification
- can evidence skills in carrying out development appraisals and construction project management
- are a highly organised and solution-focused individual
- have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- can demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with teams within the council and with external partners.
- have a passion for improving outcomes for the residents of Central Bedfordshire by providing new homes
