Brent’s diversity is evident to all who visit our borough and our long history of ethnic and cultural diversity has created a place that is truly unique and valued by those who live and work here.

The Post

Brent Housing Management is proud to be a compassionate landlord committed to provided excellent homes to Brent residents.

This is an exciting time to join the service as we grow a Council owned portfolio of Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation.

We are searching for a new team of Supported Housing and Temporary Accommodation Officers. As an officer in this team, you will manage the new homes built by the Council for Adult Social Care and Homelessness Services. To do this successfully you will need to build relationships with partner organisations and embed a culture of tenancy sustainment for all residents within the portfolio and set out expectations to residents, enforcing the tenancy or licence agreement.

Working closely with the development team will be essential to succeeding in the role as you will need to advocate on behalf of residents needs at all stages of the new build process and ensure homes are handed over so as a team you are ready to mobilise new blocks from day one.

The Person

You must be someone who believes in the importance of providing good quality affordable housing and be prepared to hold people to task so we deliver high performing services to residents.

Some experience working in operational Housing Management teams and working alongside teams such as Adult Social Care is preferred.

You should be knowledgeable in safeguarding and working with vulnerable people.

An excellent communicator, organised and a problem solver.
