Do you want to help save lives?
Can you do this by creating evidence-based communication and engagement strategies?
If so, we want to hear from you.
Waltham Forest Council is investing in a Public Health communications and engagement team to develop a programme of campaigns and projects to help improve residents' health.
Whilst still promoting the COVID-19 vaccination, testing programme and rules and guidance, the team will also develop long-term behaviour change campaigns and promote the range of public health services available to Waltham Forest residents.
We want to hear from communicators that have experience in planning, implementing and evaluating evidence-led campaigns, across a variety of subject areas, to help lead this work.
As a new team we have a range of opportunities available:
1x Campaigns Officer for Public Health - Responsible for managing our communications content across our camapigns and channels.
1x Engagement Officer for Public Health - Responsible for designing and supporting our engagement programme in support of our public health campaigns and projects.
2x Communications Manager for Public Health - Responsible for designing and leading our public health behaviour change campaigns.
All roles are initially being offered internally only, either as 18 month fixed term contracts, or funded secondments from a permanent role.
Interviews will be held as soon as possible. If the positions cannot be recruited to internally we will go out to external advert.
If you want to have an informal conversation about any of the roles available contact Martin Szybut, Head of Communications and Engagement for Public Health on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07967 348679.
