Climate Emergency Officer

Pendle Council is committed to addressing climate change.  We’ve signed up to the Climate Emergency Declaration and aim to be carbon neutral by 2030.  

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to support us on our journey.

Someone with a sound understanding of climate change, resource efficiency issues and sustainable development who is passionate about creating positive change.

You’ll need technical analytical skills, experience in project planning and delivery and excellent interpersonal skills.  Working with service areas across the council, as well as key stakeholders and the community, you’ll inspire action and influence decision making.

This post is suitable to candidates qualified to degree level who want to kick-start their career in climate change.
